HTM Energy Jumper™ is our developing concept for a human-piloted, single-seat hybrid vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft.
So far, we have translated the original ideas into revision-controlled requirements, illustrated component studies, specification documents and animated flight simulations. The concept includes six coaxial ducted-fan assemblies with twelve motors, a modular airframe, a removable energy module and a pilot interface designed around visibility, serviceability and control.
Our design discussions have refined the cockpit, landing gear, propulsion arrangement, display placement and proposed guidance and fault-response functions. Human sightlines—including downward views to port and starboard—remain an important design consideration.
The simulation work has progressed from illustrated flight sequences to a simplified feedback-controlled motion model. The Performance sequence depicts acceleration, braking, coordinated turns, a simulated disturbance and recovery, positioning corrections, and approach and landing. Displays compare commanded and modeled behavior to make the assumptions and responses easier to inspect.
The latest simulation revision illustrates proposed fuel-shutdown transitions to fan-only operation. The extended edition runs 3 minutes 24 seconds, with flight footage at 1.5× speed and a clearly labeled replay that includes the S-turn a second time.
The eight-page Revision 05 brochure brings together the concept illustrations, current requirements, thrust diagrams and modular component studies.
This is concept-development work—not footage of a flying prototype or proof of aircraft performance, safety or regulatory approval. Structural, propulsion, energy, thermal and control assumptions still require engineering analysis and physical validation.
Getting it right is the objective. Saving time is a byproduct.
